Mr. Obayuwana is a businessman and a patron of the arts. He is founder and CEO of Polo Limited, the leading luxury maison in Nigeria. He is known as one of the pioneers in the luxury industry in Africa and has played a significant role in defining and setting the standards for the luxury industry in Africa.

Biodun Dabiri
Biodun DabiriDirector

Mr. Dabiri is Managing Director/CEO of Radix Capital Partners, one of the leading investment banking houses in Nigeria. He is a consummate corporate finance specialist who has handled some of the largest and most complex transactions in the Nigerian capital markets over a period spanning 24 years. He was involved in the conceptualization, capitalization and restructuring of a wide variety of ideas and companies. He set up and nurtured a number of successful business units including the Capital Consortium Limited, an asset management company and Security Swaps Limited, a stockbroking firm and foremost player in the Nigerian capital market.

Biodun Disu
Biodun DisuDirector

Mr. Disu is an Engineer and has held senior management positions for the last 25 years. He was in 1991 appointed CEO of PPC (Philips Project Centre) owned by Philips N.V, tasked with providing turnkey solutions for multi-disciplinary projects for ICT, Telecommunications and Healthcare Projects. He led the Management Buy-Out (MBO) of the company for the acquisition of majority equity participation and currently serves as the Executive Chairman. In addition, he presently sits as Director on the boards of several local and international companies.

Kayode Sufianu
Kayode SufianuManaging Director

Kayode is founder/Chief Executive and Lead Consultant of Rosequeen Consulting & Balanced Scorecard West Africa with over 14 years C-level experience and total of 36 years work and consulting experience. He is a Senior Associate of Balanced Scorecard Institute (BSI), a certified Balanced Scorecard Master Professional (BSMP), certified PuMP Performance Blueprint Professional and certified Prosci™ Change Management Professional. His principal training and consulting interests include strategy, performance management and change management.

He was consultant on various UK Department for International Development (DFID), World Bank and Enhancing Financial Innovation & Access (EFiNA) -funded financial services projects, the most recent of such projects was a study on Nigeria Financial Services Landscape – Supply Side Financial Inclusion.

He has led balanced scorecard strategic management system consulting engagements for many organizations in public and private sectors including, Nigerian Communications Commission, Securities and Exchange Commission, Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency, Bank of Uganda, Bank of Ghana, African Export Import Bank, Wema Bank, JNC International, Graphic Communication Group (Ghana), etc.  As a certified balanced scorecard trainer, Kayode has in the past seven years, trained over 1000 people in balanced scorecard framework with about 300 attaining professional BSP certification of The George Washington University College of Professional Studies and BSI.

Kayode was Managing Director of Access Bank Plc. and Societe Bancaire (Merchant Bankers), both in Nigeria, where he led and played active roles in the business transformation of the banks at various times.

He holds a BSc in Agricultural Economics from The University of Ibadan and a Master of Economics from The University of Lagos; he is a Fellow of ifs School of Finance, England, and holder of Financial Services Diploma (DipFS) of the School. He is an Alumnus of the Advanced Management Program of the Lagos Business School and a trained SME business counsellor.

William Sam
William SamDirector of Technologies

William Sam is Director of Technologies for Balanced Scorecard West Africa, a position to which he brings a wealth of experience acked by a solid education.

William Sam is an electrical engineer with qualification, professional certification, and experience in electrical, electronics, and software engineering. He is an IEEE Computer Society Certified Software Development Professional and Software Engineering Certified Instructor and also holds the Balanced Scorecard Professional Certification jointly issued by the Balanced Scorecard Institute and the George Washington University Center for Professional Studies. He is an expert in Business Process Reengineering and Automation and has worked in several African countries including Ghana, Nigeria, Gambia, Benin and Liberia.

His experience includes several ICT and Management Consulting projects, working with local and global organizations.

Mark Van Rooyen

Mark is the lead consultant of Van Rooyen & Associates, a South African based consulting and training firm.

Mark has more than 15 years experience in facilitating change in organisations. Some of the key areas of expertise are strategic development, change management, performance management, and management development. Marks’ role as a facilitator, trainer and business coach and his emphasis on practical “how to” strategies and tactics in various industries and governmental sectors, allows him to share his experiences and some proven best practices from a range of disciplines.

Some of the private and public organizations that have benefited from Mark’s consulting and training services include: De Beers, Anglo American, BMW SA, Telkom SA, Botswana Telecoms, Vodacom, ABSA, African Banking Corporation, FNB Insurance; and South African Reserve Bank, Reserve Bank of Malawi, Law Society of South Africa, National Communications Agency and many government ministries and departments in southern Africa.

Mark is an Associate of the Balanced Scorecard Institute, USA.

Olalekan Afolabi

Mr. Olusola Afolabi has over fourteen (14) years’ work experience that cuts across financial planning, management and analysis, accounting and auditing, business valuation, strategy formulation and implementation, project and management accounting. He has a MBA (Finance) from LadokeAkintola University, Ogbomosho. He is also a HND holder in Accounting from Kwara State Polytechnic; graduated with Distinction and adjudged the best graduating student in 2005. He is a Chartered Accountant, ACA, of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He is a part-time lecturer in Strategic Financial Management, Financial Reporting, Performance Management etc. in various ICAN accredited Tutorial Centers. He is a Balanced Scorecard Master Professional, has been involved in the development of various enterprise scorecards and cascading using the Balanced Scorecard Institute Nine Steps to Success framework and an alumnus of the famous Lagos Business School.

Alan Fell
Alan FellSenior Associate

Alan is a Balanced Scorecard Institute Senior Associate and a UK-based management consultant and trainer who has focused his last 20 years’ experience on the Balanced Scorecard and its practical application within strategy execution programmes.

After a successful career with a major London-based bank, Alan began a second career as an independent consultant / trainer in 1996, having already achieved 3 years’ experience of leading an early BSC programme within his former bank. As Alan describes it – “when we started the BSC in 1993 there were no consultants, trainers, text-books nor conferences on the subject. We just had the initial Harvard papers and a lot of initiative and enthusiasm. It’s a great way to learn.”

As a trainer, focusing mainly on the Balanced Scorecard and Strategy Execution matters, Alan has conducted more than 300 events across the world, but with a special focus on the Middle East and, to a lesser extent, South East Asia and Africa. Across the Middle East Alan’s Scorecard assignments have covered a wide range of industry sectors, within private and public ownership and he delivers the majority of the Institute’s very successful Certified BSC Bootcamp programmes within the Region.

One of Alan’s special areas of interest is applying the BSC to SME organisations – requiring a streamlined, timely and practical approach compared to text-book major project case studies. He also specialises in the “HR Scorecard” concept.

Oberhiri Emmanuel
Oberhiri EmmanuelSenior Consultant

He is a Chartered Accountant with vast experiences in consultancy especially in strategy formulation and implementation using the Balanced Scorecard methodology. He has been a key team member in the development of various organizations’ scorecards since joining Balanced Scorecard West Africa.

He also has over 12 years post qualification experience in Accounting, Taxation and Audit, during which he has been head of Audit in A.O Opaneye & Co (Chartered Accountants) as well as Head of Finance of various organisations Including Polo Limited, Health Plus Limited, Calvary Airlines Limited and Proper Resources and Investment Group Limited, where he instituted and implemented various accounting policies and controls with positive impact in the organisations’ financial performances.

He also taught ICAN students preparing for the professional examination at ICAN approved centers in courses such as Corporate Finance and Strategy, Financial Reporting, Management Accounting and Taxation

Oberhiri Emmanuel Holds the Balanced Scorecard Professional Certification (BSP) awarded by the Balanced Scorecard Institute and George Washington University USA. He is also an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, an holds a Bachelors Degree of the Obafemi Awolowo University in Agricultural Science with Second Class Upper, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management of the University of Calabar and ACCA Certificate in International Financial Reporting.

Atolagbe Olamide
Atolagbe OlamideBusiness Development Associate

With 3 years working experience in Business Development, Olamide is an active member of the Balanced Scorecard West Africa team that organizes the open and in-company training programs, writes proposals, brochures and various other business informational letters and acts as the company’s liaison with the webmaster in updating web contents and ensuring consistent uptime of the website. She is also in charge of establishing strong customer relationship by providing accurate and timely information to customers regarding inquiries such as products, pricing, quotes and issues/concerns. Her most recent additional responsibility is coordinating the company’s digital marketing strategy.

She is a Certified Balanced Scorecard Professional, a graduate of Covenant University, Ota, with a B.Sc. in Economics and in the process of completing her M.Sc. Economics, of the University of Lagos.
